Pioneer Day

My son's third grade class spent the day in 1912 today.
My Dad and I were able to be volunteers for the day.
It was a fun day for everyone,
parents and kids!

We all wore clothes that were appropriate for 1912.

There were 6 "chores" that needed to be done
on the farm today.

1.Baking muffins.
(which included churning butter and making flour)

2.Laundry

3.Making fruit crates
(this was our chore station)

4. Tilling the garden.

5. Sew a small satchel

6. Crafts
(this isn't really a chore)

There were also a few "cute" moments to catch.

We certainly enjoyed being on the farm for the day!
