Pinochle

I learned how to play a new game tonight...Pinochle. It was a bit confusing at first, but after 2-3 rounds I was doing just fine. (with the help of my BIL standing behind me) It was fun; lots of laughs, yeahs, oh man and ughs ! This was just what I needed tonight, some laughter.
Our family is experiencing some difficulty this week. It was nice to not think about things for an hour or so and just enjoy the moment. Too often it is the little things that we take for granted, but it is also the little things that bring us so much. I am thankful tonight for Pinochle and all that it brought me.
