Quilting Class

Today I went to my first quilting class & I had a great time ! I have been thinking of making a quilt for quite some time now, in fact I've had the material for a Christmas quilt for each of my boys for almost a year now. I tried my hand at it last year and made a small one when my nephew was born. It did turn out nicely and I am proud of how it turned out, but I was wanting to know more. I want to be able to make something more than just squares, so I signed up.
I learned so much today. New terms, new cutting techniques, new ways to iron...it was a day full of new. I also found several new tools that I think I will "need" for this new adventure. I hope to show off the completed version of my project soon, so check back soon for what I made.
