Week 3
Can it be that we are heading into the 3rd week of the year? The first 2 weeks were pretty good..let's see what this next week has in store for us...
Monday ~ HOLIDAY ! Everyone is off today..yeah ! (workout too)
Tuesday ~ preschool, craftime
Wednesday ~ off work, watch the rain fall, workout
Thursday ~ possible Jury Duty...UGH ! workout
Friday ~ off work, workout, cricut night !
Saturday ~ lots of possiblities just depends on the weather..
It is actually a fairly quiet week which I LOVE. This gives me time to Focus on some craft projects, playing rainy day games with the kids (as it's most likely raining for the next 7 days) and catch up on some reading.
This morning in church we had a guest speaker who is the direct descendant of Booker T. Washington & Frederick Douglass. Both of these men were key leaders in the fight against slavery. I enjoyed listening to him speak of what his ancestors had done and how that is playing a key role in his life today. Family history is of great importance in his life. It made me think about one of my goals for this year : Focusing on our Family. I am going to take advantage of our rainy week and have some fun with the boys, making forts, playing games, watching movies & whatever else we can think of.
